Now for the science…
DiSC is based on four distinct types of human behaviour with varying intensity and is used extensively in leadership and team development. Based on Dr William Marston’s research in the 1920s, (Marston discovered a correspondence between blood pressure and lying, and built the first polygraph), it has strong reliability and validity measures.
This DiSC profiling uses Adaptive Testing (AT), a computer-based iterative methodology that successively selects and presents subsequent questions based on a learner’s response to previous questions. With this technology, a person’s DiSC profile is 32% more accurate than a traditional DiSC Classic profile.
DiSC provides access to online support to compare each person’s style with each of their colleagues, to explore similarities and differences, and to learn how to work more effectively together.
